ABOUT
Toby Boddy (b. 2003, Portsmouth) is an artist and writer based in the South Coast, England.
Working with experimental text, sound, and physical materiality, Boddy is interested in the imagining of future technological ecologies and the utilisation of gender within psuedo-futuristic structures.
Inspired by wider science fiction tropes and forms, current work explores the boundaries between organic and synthetic bodies, examining lived experiences through fictitious, unconventional retellings.
Having graduated from Kingston School of Art in 2024, Boddy currently works as a Creative Engagement Practitioner at Playland, Portsmouth.
